Wolf Howls Evolved into Sirens

This one is just dumb. Even for evolutionary just-so stories, this one is a howler.

Sound analysis hints sirens have an evolutionary link with wolf howls (New Scientist). What?

There is an uncanny similarity between wolf howls and emergency sirens. The sound of a siren might be effective because we evolved to be alerted by howls, suggest researchers.

 

Wolf grins at human credulity.

Well, if they’re similar, sirens must have evolved by natural selection, right? Doesn’t natural selection account for everything in the world? Evolutionists have ruled out intelligent design, haven’t they?
