Earth’s Amber Required Global Flood Conditions

The mixtures of organisms found in
amber worldwide call for large-scale
transport by water and rapid burial.

Amber, the name we give for solidified tree resin for its typical golden-orange color, is a highly prized jewel that often contains entrapped organisms—not only insects, but parts of birds, frogs, and lizards. The detail seen in these organisms is astonishing and gives scientists valuable information about the environments in which these animals died. Some specimens, however, contain mixtures of animals that do not live together, such as freshwater and marine organisms.

In his talk for Logos Research Associates on 14 May 2025, Joseph Kezele, M.D. (Univ of Arizona) and Assistant Professor of Biology at Arizona Christian University, shared fascinating information about the origin, distribution and contents of amber. He provides evidence why evolutionary processes cannot produce it in the quantities found all over the world. Many entrapped specimens are identical to modern ones even after supposedly having been buried over 130 million Darwin Years ago.

Dr Kezele also shows seldom-seen quotations by secular scientists admitting that the world was covered with water in the past, and statements some of them have made about the improbable associations of animals found in the same samples. A global Flood as described in Genesis, Dr Kezele argues from the evidence, fits the conditions required for the formation and distribution of amber. He ends with a historical vignette of disputes between the Swedes, Prussians, Germans and Russians about treasures of amber used in palaces from the 17th to 21st centuries.

We encourage our readers to watch this 70-minute presentation. It is the latest in a series of live broadcasts by creation scientists presented by Logos Research Associates. Logos R.A. is committed to a high view of Scripture and a high view of science. It funds research projects without the evolutionary lens that assumes millions and billions of years of unguided natural processes. The fellowship, founded by geneticist Dr John Sanford, includes ambassadors and researchers with doctorates in a variety of scientific fields.
