Creation Displays Magnificence in Common Things

In the latest broadcast from
Logos Research Associates,
Dr Gordon Wilson shares
wonders in common organisms

Logos Research Associates, a fellowship of scientists and scholars upholding a high view of Scripture, has been hosting monthly live broadcasts on YouTube usually from PhD scientists. The latest one, “The Magnificence of the Mundane,” aired Wednesday June 11. The presenter was Dr Gordon Wilson.* Moderator was Dr Andrew Fabich.

Dr Wilson shared details from four small animals and three common plants that exhibit magnificent architecture and exquisite functional complexity. The take-home lesson is that wonders abound right around us if we take a closer look, which is the righteous task of the scientist (Psalm 111:2, Philippians 4:8). As Wilson’s father told him, “Intelligent design is the understatement of the century.”

We encourage CEH readers to enjoy the recording that was posted this week at the Logos Research Associates Channel. Note: the presentation begins at the 5-minute mark.
