Humans Can Undergo Metamorphosis

In a choice offered to every person,
our Maker offers to fill the void in
our hearts and make us new creations

Caterpillars cannot choose to undergo metamorphosis, but we humans have the option to become new creatures even more dramatic: from lost sinners with empty lives to children of God experiencing faith, hope, and love. Illustra Media’s short film “The Hole” tells how our Creator does not leave us with a void in the heart. He provided a way to fill it with Himself.

America is approaching Thanksgiving Day on November 26. Scientists know that gratitude is good for health, but can gratitude be generated from within, simply because one hears it is a good attitude to have? If you find little or nothing to be thankful for, God understands that none of the usual remedies—money, fame, pleasure—will ever satisfy the human heart. That’s because we were made for Him, not for ourselves. Yet our sin alienates us from Him. In great love, He provided a remedy at great cost, and that is the ultimate cause for thanksgiving… and joy.
