David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

Scientific Papers Can No Longer Be Trusted

How do you know a paper is not a hoax? or fake science? It's getting increasingly difficult to tell, and Big Science is worried.

No, These Findings Do Not Support Evolution

Evolutionary biologists keep giving Darwin credit for discoveries that actually militate against his theory.

Synthetic Fossils Show Organic Films Can Preserve Quickly

In an attempt to learn about the fossilization process, scientists have found that exceptional fossils don’t require millions of years. Scientists at the University of Bristol are old-earth evolutionists, but what they found by experiment mimicked what can be seen in fossils. How long did it take? One day. Exceptionally-preserved fossils, like those of dinosaur […]

The Best Science Follows Design

Sir Francis Bacon emphasized that you will know good science by its fruits. Here are good examples of fruitful research that took inspiration from nature's designs.

Abusing Science: Leftists Push PC Agendas with Scientism

Nothing in science says women should abort their babies or humans should deny their genes. But if it's PC, media will use fake science to promote it.

Scientific Discoveries Can Cast Doubt on Long-Held Beliefs

You have to look beneath the surface veneer of bluffing in science news to see how the sausage is made before it gets packaged to the press.

Dinosaur Era Fossils Fail to Support Evolution

You have to squint hard to see the image of Charles Darwin in these bones. It works better if you close your eyes.

Poison Water Detected on Mars

Mars mania has struck again, with the latest announcement that a "lake" of water may exist under the red planet's polar ice cap.

Will Everything Come Up Roses in War-torn Afghanistan?

Need some good news for a change? Some Afghan farmers are finding better profits growing roses than growing opium poppies.

Child Prodigies Disprove Brain Size as Intelligence Driver

It's not the size; it's the wiring. Don't we know that for electronics? Why are evolutionists still obsessed with brain size?

Environments Do Not Cause Adaptations

The way some evolutionists think, light creates eyes, sound creates ears, and odors create noses.

Conservatives Feel More Purposeful Lives

Are liberals floundering in uncertainty over the meaning of life? A new study indicates that more conservatives have a sense of purpose than liberals.

Darwinism Breeds Bigotry, Arrogance, and Hate

How to start a mud volcano: say something that hints at some disagreement with Darwinian evolution.

Mars Is Losing Its Atmosphere Fast

Measurements of Martian atmospheric loss rates imply incredible changes over the assumed billions of years of Mars' history.

Time to Revisit the Lunar Dust Problem?

How deep should lunar dust get over billions of years? Opinions have vacillated between extremes, but a new study might open up the debate again.
