The US Election Will Affect CEH

It was never more urgent
to vote for righteousness.
We know how socialism ends.

Voting for righteousness sometimes means voting against evil. Please watch this short (42-second) statement by Frank Turek, well-known Christian speaker and apologist.

As Dr John MacArthur said recently in answer to how Christ followers should vote, the choice is clear. Christians cannot be on the Democrat side where their stated positions are anti-family, pro-abortion and their actions exhibit lawlessness. You take the best of choices, because as he said before the 2016 election, election results have profound worldview implications.

Agreeing with that, Ken Ham (Answers in Genesis) said there’s no neutral position. To wash your hands over the election and abstain from voting is to hand the election over to the enemies of God. (The first 6:30 minutes are the important part.).

Voting is a Christian privilege and duty. America was a rare experiment in self-government in a history full of monarchies and tyrants. Christians have long embraced the values in the American founding documents: liberty, freedom of conscience, and one’s duty to fellow citizens. Many hymnals include patriotic songs like America the Beautiful, God of Our Fathers, and My Country ‘Tis of Thee. We take liberty for granted, but freedom is not free, and with great privilege comes great responsibility.

Why does this concern CEH? We rely on educated, intelligent readers who know how to use their God-given reason and logic to evaluate evidence. The Democrat Party has engaged in policies that kill with fentanyl and abortion, enslave through drug- and sex-trafficking cartels, and dumb down students with drag queen story hours and queer education. No such graduates of their policies are likely to understand our articles even if they are allowed to see them. The Democrat Party is also the party of censorship with cancel culture, DOPE education (which is indoctrination), and riots filled with mindless chanting robots. As we wrote on Oct 15, the outcome of a turn to authoritarian socialism is predictable.

Anyone need reminders that Big Science has capitulated to the Far Left? Like the Democrat Party, Big Science loves Darwin, censorship and totalitarian control of messaging. (17 Sept 2024, 5 Aug 2024, 9 July 2024). If you count yourself one of the “Evangelicals for Harris,” are you aware that group was funded by George Soros to weaken evangelical opposition to Democrats? See the best-selling book by Megan Basham, Shepherds for Sale: How Evangelical Leaders Trade the Truth for a Leftist Agenda. John West, leader of the Discovery Institute, was impressed by the research in her book. As many a wise observer has said, follow the money trail.

Have you talked to your pastor about getting members to vote? This Sunday is the last opportunity. They don’t have to mention candidates. As Frank Turek said, they can point out the stark differences in values between the candidates and parties.

What to Do Now

Many Christians are rightly concerned about this election, now just 4 days away. If you have not voted yet, by all means VOTE NOW! We recommend you drop your mail-in ballot at a voting location because there is a chain of custody there. It’s better to vote a few days early this year because one never knows what shenanigans Democrats will pull on election day. Until we return to same-day voting with paper ballots and voter ID, these are the circumstances we have to deal with.

If you have voted, there is still work to do. Voters who love the Lord and honor His word must get others to vote. George Barna’s survey team found that some 41 million evangelicals do not plan to vote in this election. That is shocking. If all who consider themselves evangelicals voted the margin of victory would be so large, Democrats would be hard pressed to even nominate a candidate, let alone one as weak as their current nominees. Use whatever social media contacts and mailing lists you have to get them to vote. Craig Huey, who researches candidates’ views, said we only need 300,000 of the evangelical holdouts to vote to prevent the Democrats from seizing power for socialism.

The Republican Party is aware that Democrats will likely cheat as they did in 2020 (ballot harvesting, destroying opposition ballots, extending deadlines, counting illegal votes, not checking for signature validation, voting machine glitches, etc.). For this reason, preventing them from seizing power will require making the election “too big to rig.” SwampTheVoteUSA.com has resources and suggestions for what you can do.

Remember too that this election is about far more than the president. Down-ballot selections include judges, senators, congresspersons, many state and local contests, and important ballot propositions. It will clearly be much more difficult to pass Republican policies if the opposition party controls the Senate and House.
