David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

Living Things Show Cleverness in Many Ways

Wherever biologists and microbiologists look, they find organisms solving problems in remarkably clever ways.

Tiny Life Benefits the Whole World

Some very small organisms can produce global effects, such as the tiny crustaceans that stir the oceans every night. What would the oceans be like without life? If minerals, gases and nutrients had to mix by diffusion, the process would be very slow. Wind and currents could help somewhat. Now, Houghton et al., publishing in […]

The Information Packed Into a Bird Egg

There's more in a bird's egg than can be accounted for by the Reverse Humpty Dumpty Hypothesis (i.e., Darwinism).

Do These Fossils Show Evolution?

Before taking an evolutionist's word for it that a fossil organism evolved, we should look at the evidence.

Silly Darwinian Stories to Laugh At

The just-so storytelling empire continues. It doesn't have to be this way.

Scientists Cannot Live with Materialism

What good is scholarship when a layman can see right through it? There's an unsatisfying emptiness at the heart of modern secular science.

Biomimetics Parade Marches Upward

Scientists continue to find amazing things about animals and plants that they wish to imitate in technology.

How Long Does Geology Take?

Geological change can occur quickly, if conditions are right, affecting life and civilization.

Honor Your Body, Honor Your Creator

We should all treat our bodies as the gifts that they are, even when parts are not working as well as originally designed.

Astrobiology Still Has No Biology

Number of worlds beyond Earth where life has been discovered: zero. Number of optimistic articles about life in outer space: hundreds per year.

Big Science Agonizes Over Tarnished Image

Most individual scientists do honorable work, but Big Science cannot sustain its public image of reliability any longer. Things must change.

Cosmologists Out of Touch with Reality

Secular cosmologists can't find things that they tell us should exist. Is reality the problem, or is it dead-end thinking instead?

New Version of Natural Selection Goes Mystical

Was there ever a song and dance as fantastical as W. Ford Doolittle's ITSNTS proposal?

Darwinians Cannot Agree on What Natural Selection Is

Controversies 159 years after Darwin have rendered his 'mechanism' a mystical idea, nebulous and incomprehensible. Has natural selection become the phlogiston of the 21st century?

If Prediction Is a Hallmark of Science, the Resurrection Was Predicted

The resurrection of Jesus Christ was predicted centuries before it occurred. It was also corroborated by eyewitness testimony. Can science do better than this?
