David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

More Soft Tissue Found in Cretaceous Fossil Bird

Unrepentant over extreme falsification, evolutionary paleontologists are just taking it for granted that soft tissue can survive millions of years.

The Lone Ranger vs the Big Science Consensus

National Geographic retells the lonely battle of J Harlen Bretz against the scientific establishment, and what made them so pig-headed.

Think Critically About Everything But Evolution

Researchers found that courses in critical thinking help humanities students overcome pseudoscience. One important pseudoscience, though, is not in their list.

Clever Critters

Small animals accomplish mighty wonders that require knowledge of advanced mathematics, physics and genetics.

Water Theories Evaporate

After decades of telling the public comets brought Earth's water, scientists are giving up on the idea. It was volcanoes, now they say.

Time to Re-Mind the Brain

A radical rethink is needed to understand the brain, a neuroscientist complains. A radical rethink is needed to understand human exceptionalism, too.

Craters: Seeing Fake Patterns

Biologists build on models from geologists who build on models from planetologists. But what if the bottom model is false?

Nature Values Independent Science Journalism

Are independent science reporters less credible than the big players? Given Big Media's awful track record, the journal editors welcome alternatives.

Scientific Referencing Perpetuates Myths

Most scientific papers contain numerous references. Rather than enhancing scholarship, careless referencing can sometimes advance zombie science.

Researchers Lie to Subjects

In order to test human responses, some psychologists intentionally lie to volunteers. Is the "science" of manipulation justifiable?

Stem Cell Headlines

Here's a list of news reports about stem cells for those interested in either health or bioethics.

Secular Evolution Drives Smart People Insane

It's hard to say this delicately, but if left-leaning evolutionists really believe these things, they are certifiably wacko.

Rethinking Fossils

Every time a new fossil turns up, a theory quakes. New evidence can subject a theory to the falsification test.

Scientism Fails Another Defense

A physicist's latest attempt to justify scientism reveals a deplorable ignorance of history, logic and philosophy of science.

Weekend Biomimetics Showcase

The focus in biology these days is on design. Here's evidence.
