David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

Three New and Different Biomimetics Stories

There appears to be no end of ways to imitate nature's designs.

What Do Geologists Know About the Early Earth?

There's not much data, and there's a lot of doubt and debate. That's what a geologist admits about theories of early earth history.

Cool Tools in your Cellular Toolkit

Biochemists can't help using familiar tools to describe what they are finding in living cells.

Archaeopteryx May Have Devolved from a Flying Bird

In all the debates about the status of Archaeopteryx between reptiles and birds, no one till now expected this wild idea: it lost its ability to fly.

Vicious Crocodile Attacks Helpless Fruit

An evolutionist was surprised to find wild crocodiles eating fruit. He has a lesson for scientists.

Buck Up; We're Stuck on Earth

Star Trek is out, scientists have found. Our bodies can't take extended space travel.

Evolutionary Origin-of-Life Speculations Contradict Each Other

Good scientific approaches should converge on the truth. In secular origin-of-life studies, theories run off in all directions, often crashing into one another.

Incredible Stories of Human Ability in Weakness

Here are three amazing stories that speak for themselves.

Respect for Alfred Russel Wallace: Too Little, Too Late

On the 100th anniversary of his death, Alfred Russell Wallace is getting a smattering of attention, but not nearly what Darwin gets every day. Perhaps it's because the co-discoverer of natural selection believed in intelligent design.

NASA Astrobiologists Draw Comics on the Job

A federally-funded NASA website about astrobiology has just launched an evolutionary comic strip. Is this an appropriate use of taxpayer funds?

Attack of the Giant Platypus

King Kong Platypus. Platypus-zilla. That's what they're calling a new fossil that is shaking up the platypus family tree.

Whale of a Batty Tale on Sonar Evolution

How did two animals completely different in size and ancestry, living in very different environments, arrive at the same complex sensing mechanism?

Does Character Count?

Evolutionists try to make everything about human nature a product of an unguided, naturalistic ancestry. Then why have sermons or seminars on doing the right thing?

Snakes on a Brain, and Other Evolutionary Stories

When evolution is seen as a storytelling game rather than a serious attempt at scientific explanation, it suddenly makes sense.

Overcoming Natural Evil with Good

Things that bite and sting are not always 100% harmful. Maybe some of our categories of natural evil are due to ignorance.
