David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

Great Oxidation Myth Unravels, Saved by the Scenario

Darwinians never give up a useful myth. When it falls apart, they patch it up with imagination.

Smoke Gets in the Eyes of Climatologists

Wildfire smoke and other factors have not been properly taken into account in climate models.

How Wood Is Made

Arboreal Artistry: The Amazing Talents of Wood Forming Cells  By Margaret Helder As the major component of trees, wood seems useful and even beautiful in finished products, but scarcely biologically dramatic. Yet recent research on the development of wood portrays an elaborate ballet which proceeds inside young developing xylem cells. This performance culminates in […]

Big Bangers Are Making Things Up

If you thought Darwinists were the storytellers while physicists do hard science, look at this.

Early Man Stories Becoming More Convoluted

Trusting the Darwinians about human evolution requires willing suspension of disbelief.

Number of Dinosaur Species May Be Overestimated

New analyses of fossils is leading scientists to question our understanding of dinosaur species. We’ve finally figured out why there were no medium-sized dinosaurs (New Scientist). The bluffing headline by Riley Black glosses over the difficulty of figuring out where one dinosaur species ends and another begins. Researchers at the University of New Mexico aren’t […]

Students in public schools have no chance to hear the reasons why life cannot "emerge" from rocks and water.

Evolutionary Timescales Require Ridiculous Migrations

Which position has more problems in biogeography, creation or evolution? Look at these tales before deciding.

Microbes Travel the Globe

The tiniest of life forms are able to traverse continental distances on wings of the wind.

Illustra Media has released a short film that explains how God's omniscience connects to the human heart.

Far Left Controls Big Science, Big Media

Observers of the creation-evolution issue need to realize how far left the Darwinists are about everything else.

Scientists Set Maximum Lifetime for Ancient DNA

Any DNA found older than this upper limit will cause huge problems for the evolutionary dating scheme.

Darwin Imagineers Stuff Fantasy Narratives with Irrelevant Details

Brains are like trees, only ours are upside down because plant brains are in the roots. Both came from chemicals.

Whoops; Tooth Date Is at Least 750% Off

It's amazing how wrong evolutionists can be without batting an eye. Errors this large should be a firing offense.
