David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

Scientists Dodge Youthfulness of Saturn Moon Titan

Like Enceladus, Saturn's moon Titan shows multiple signs of being far less than 4.5 billion years old – yet the press releases are strangely silent about the implications.

Secrets of Sight

The number of processes involved in eyesight continues to grow, adding more focus and clarity to the miracle of vision.

Discovering Mammals, Dead and Alive

Two mammal discoveries made the news this week: a cuddly one and a fossil. Do they tell evolutionary tales?

Meet Your New Teacher, Prof. Neanderthal

Far from being dumb brutes stuck in caves, Neanderthals may have taught modern people techniques that are still used today.

Invisible Influence of Plants Coming to Light

The air is filled with substances we barely notice – molecules produced by plants – but they have profound effects on climate and ecology.

Imagination Cures Falsifications of Darwinism

How many show-stoppers does it take to stop a show? With Darwinism, the show goes on despite multiple falsifications. The trick is to imagine solutions that don't require evidence.

More Reasons to Imitate Living Designs

The gold rush is on! Designs in the living world are inspiring technologies that are superior to old fashioned human ingenuity, and environmentally friendly, too.

Origin of Life Theory Invokes Resurrection

Some scientists from Europe and America believe in the resurrection – of proteins.

Jurassic Mammal: Puzzle or Prize for Darwin?

Two recently-reported Jurassic mammal fossils can be seen as puzzles for evolutionary theory, or confirmations of it – depending on the reporter.

Well, Duh; Adam and Eve Were Contemporaries

New genetic studies confirm the existence of a "Y-Chromosome Adam" and "Mitochondrial Eve" but, contrary to earlier analyses, place them in the same time frame.

Scientists Dodge Youthfulness of Saturn Moon Enceladus

Planetary scientists have figured out that the geysers of Enceladus vary during its orbit, but seem oddly silent about the question of how long the little moon could remain so active.

Thank Evolution that Nothing Is Evil (or Good)

When evolutionists discuss the evolution of war, or of monogamy, or of religion, they rob mankind of any basis for judging good and evil.

More Evidence for Epigenetic Controls on Genetics

Epigenetics has become a hot topic in biology. There are players "above DNA"– some heritable – that may be more important than the genetic code itself.

Birds and Their Evolution (or Design)

Several recent science papers try to find evolution in bird brains, genes, and behaviors. Do they succeed?
