David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

Plants Use Elaborate Email System

If email is a system for delivering two-way coded messages across a distance, plants had it long before humans thought of it.

Antimatter Problem Fails Another Test

Protons and antiprotons appear identical according to a new high-accuracy test. The "antimatter problem" is the big bang theory's need to see a difference.

Big Science Fights Christian Values

Secular scientists have more than just Darwinism to offer as an alternative to creation. They have political clout to fight traditional values with anti-Christian political and educational positions.

Cassini Continues to Unveil Youth at Saturn

Reports from Cassini's last days, even up to its last gasps as it plunged into Saturn on September 15, are not supporting long ages.

Fossil Bird Oil Stuns Scientists

A gland that birds use for preening, including the fatty oil, has been found in a fossil. Could it really be 48 million years old? Yesterday, we reported a soft tissue find in a turtle fossil said to be 54 million years old. Within hours, another story appeared about soft tissue from a bird fossil […]

Original Proteins Found in Fossil Sea Turtle

The fossil of a sea turtle said to be 54 million years old still has original proteins of pigment and muscle.

Lazy Darwinists Abuse Science

The Darwin storytelling empire has become fat and lazy, abandoning the hard work of empiricism for tantalizing speculations.

Corrupt Peer Review Needs a Reformation

The ostensible gold standard of scientific reliability, peer review, looks more like fool's gold in many cases. Reforming it will require an overhaul, not just corrections.

The Heart Is Desperately Wicked

Self-deception seems hard-wired into the human psyche, and scientists are not immune from it.

Ring Around the Dwarf Planet Says ‘I’m Young’

You can't declare something old just because your worldview requires it to be old.

Cell Repair Requirement Demolishes Origin-of-Life Speculation

A biology professor who came out of a Darwinian communist country explodes origin-of-life speculation with real world facts about genetic repair mechanisms.

Neanderthal Racism Continues

The evidence shows that Neanderthals were fully human, having shared genetic information with us. Why, then, do Darwin Supremacists continue to treat them as "other" than human?

Scientists Discover Liberty Works

The incontrovertible leftist bent in academia once in awhile runs against facts of human nature. Studies show individual liberty is often better than government or globalist control.

Empirical Test of the Rafting Hypothesis

Evolutionists claim large mammals like monkeys made it across oceans on rafts of vegetation. Here was a chance to test the idea.
