David Coppedge, B.S. Education, B.S. Physics, founded Creation-Evolution Headlines in late 2000 as a way to share science news he was encountering at NASA. It has grown into a highly-trusted source of news and commentary critical of the pro-Darwin consensus, providing analysis of breaking news of interest to creationists and evolutionists, without the Darwin spin. He has authored over 7,000 entries at CEH since its inception.

David worked as a system administrator at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 14 years as a member of the Cassini team. For 9 of those years at JPL, he was Team Lead System Administrator, responsible for most of the ground system computers for the historic mission to Saturn. In this role he got to know many of the world's leading planetary scientists. In addition, he led JPL tours and was a Cassini outreach speaker to civic groups and astronomy clubs.

David is a board member and science consultant for Illustra Media and an Associate with Logos Research Associates. His sharing of Illustra DVDs led to his firing from JPL in 2012. This led to a court trial, assisted by the Discovery Institute and Alliance Defending Freedom. It ended with a lone judge ruling against him without explanation.

Coppedge now devotes more time to Creation-Evolution Headlines and other creation ministries. He also writes for the Discovery Institute, a leading think tank for intelligent design, where he has written over 1,700 articles.

It’s Over: Dark Energy Was Fake Science

It's being called the Worst Theoretical Prediction in the History of Physics. Dark energy, and its cousin dark matter, are not showing up in any empirical tests.

Unusual Fossils Twisted to Support Darwinism

A fossil is a standalone reality. Darwinism is a story that force-fits these standalone realities into a predetermined narrative. Watch how it is done.

Bacteria Rule the Earth

Bacteria are inescapable. They're everywhere. Fortunately, many of them are here for good.

Habitable Planets Just Got Much More Rare

If this scientist’s theory about the origin of magnetic fields is correct, habitable planets will be few and far between. Earth has a magnetic field sufficient to support life. Venus does not. Why does “Earth’s twin” lack this protective shield? According to secular geophysicists, a magnetic field is generated by a dynamo in a planet’s […]

Is This Duck a Dinosaur?

Before swallowing the hype about the latest dino-bird fossil, ask some hard questions.

Alien Intrusion: Half of Humans Believe in Space Aliens

A powerful new documentary coming on January 11 investigates the rise in belief in space aliens, UFOs and abductions.

Human Body Wonders to Amaze Their Inhabitants

There's more going on under your skin than you can possibly comprehend.

Well-Adapted Underwater Animals that Defy Evolution

A wide variety of organisms spend all or part of their time under the surface of water, having just the equipment they need to thrive.

Amazing Fossils Found in Flood Deposits

Flood geology explains these unique fossils like slow-and-gradual geology cannot.

Big Science Driven by Political Correctness

Scientific institutions often imbibe their political and cultural milieu rather than directing it.

Abusing Darwinism to Explain Everything

Do documents evolve? Are birds that can interbreed still evolving? Darwinism becomes meaningless if everything that changes in some way is used as support for the theory.

Health May Depend on Good Viruses and Microbes

There is still much to learn about the human body. Some of our best friends may not even share our own genes.

Lightning Can Produce Carbon-14

In a surprise announcement, Japanese researchers found that lightning bolts can be powerful enough to cause nuclear fission, leading to new isotopes— including carbon-14.

Is Dark Matter a Myth?

More precise tests continue to fail to find dark matter or dark energy. How long do scientists get to look for occult phenomena that may not be real?

Nuts for Aliens

Believers in space aliens, or even space bacteria, have cast all restraint to the wind. SETI today is indistinguishable from a cult, and so is its stepchild, astrobiology.
